Lucy Weld
Lucy is a passionate non-profit professional who brings a strong background in business administration to her recent role at First Witness Child Advocacy Center. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a certificate in Fine Arts Administration, Lucy is deeply committed to supporting organizations that foster youth development and the arts.
In addition to her work at First Witness, Lucy serves as an AmeriCorps member at the Marshall Forest School, where she works with K-4 students to develop social-emotional learning skills. Lucy spends a lot of time outdoors with the students, connecting with nature and exploring the environment. Her passion for helping children and contributing to the community extends beyond her professional life—she recently moved to Duluth from Minneapolis and is excited to get involved in supporting local businesses and causes.
Outside of work, Lucy has a variety of hobbies including playing and coaching ultimate frisbee, crocheting, coloring, and playing guitar and singing. Lucy also enjoys spending time with friends, watching reality TV, and cuddling with her cats. They are excited to be a part of the First Witness team and look forward to contributing to the important work of child advocacy in Duluth.
