Emma MacDonald

Emma is a local Duluthian who has an extensive background in finance and administration with a passion for helping others while creating a safer and more just community. She has played several different roles in several non-profit organizations, such as a treasurer for Kiwanis Key Club International and as a Rotarian for the Duluth Rotary Foundation.
Emma is currently studying political science and criminology in pre-law at the University of Minnesota Duluth. She plans on attending law school after finishing her bachelor’s degree and spending some more time in town with First Witness. She has devoted her time at UMD studying the legal field and plans to use her background to become an advocate for underserved communities in the criminal justice system.
Emma is also an avid sailor, painter, motorcyclist and skier, once acting as captain of the Denfeld Alpine Ski Team. Her favorite thing to do most of all is getting outdoors with her daughter and fiancée. She is very excited to join the first witness team and contribute to the Duluth community!
