My name is Kaeden, and I am currently interning with First Witness Child Advocacy Center (CAC) for the 2025-2026 school year. I am currently studying social work at the University of Minnesota Duluth, and plan to graduate this spring. After graduation I hope to pursue my master’s degree in social work and continue fueling my passion for this field. Over the past several years I have had the opportunity to work as a substitute paraprofessional in the Duluth school district as well as the Long Prairie and Sauk Centre districts. This work has allowed me to work closely with kids of many ages and has truly validated my commitment for this career path. I also had the opportunity to volunteer at Neighborhood Youth Services this past fall, spending time with and building lasting supportive relationships with the children of that community. When I am not working or studying, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being on the lake, reading, trying new coffee shops, doing arts and crafts, and being outside in the beautiful scenery that Duluth has to offer!
I am excited to continue learning through this opportunity to work with the First Witness team. I look forward to getting hands on experience in the world of advocacy, forensic interviewing, and community outreach.
