Kimber is from Superior, WI, and is currently attending the University of Wisconsin-Superior. She is a Senior in her final semester, majoring in Social Work with a minor in Psychology, and is set to graduate in August 2025. In addition to her internship at First Witness, Kimber works part-time as a Youth Development Professional at the Boys & Girls Club Lincoln Park location, engaging with children aged 5-18 years. Kimber chose Social Work because she is passionate about helping others and values the opportunity to work with diverse populations and the focus on empathy inherent in the field. Outside of her professional and academic commitments, Kimber enjoys reading, going for walks, music in many capacities, and spending time with friends, family, and her family’s dog, Brynn. She is eager to gain as much knowledge as possible during her time at First Witness and is thankful for the opportunity.
