Talsi is attending The University of Minnesota, Duluth (UMD) where she is double-majoring in Criminology and Psychology. She is from Elk River, Minnesota where she has a twin and an older sister. She is active in the local UMD sorority, Kappa Xi Delta where she volunteers at the Damiano Center, highway clean up, and at fundraising events. After Talsi graduates this upcoming December, she plans on pursuing graduate school for either Forensic Psychology or Physiological Psychology. Some things she enjoys outside of school are hiking, hanging with her cats and friends, and listening to music. Talsi is excited to be at First Witness and is looking forward to learning more about prevention of child abuse as well as learn more about advocacy for children and adults.
