Recently, completing her internship with First Witness, Zoe has joined the team as our Temporary Operations Specialist. Growing up in Champlin, Minnesota, Zoe moved to Duluth in 2022 to further her education and is currently studying criminology and sociology at the University of Minnesota Duluth. During her schooling she cultivated special interests in mental health and trauma, specifically the stigma surrounding mental health and its effects on the criminal justice system. Her time as a youth diving coach inspired her to continue working with kids and taught her the importance of creating safe, supportive environments for children. This, combined with her education, has fostered Zoe’s passion for working with children and families alongside the systems.
Outside of her academic and professional life, Zoe loves road tripping to new places, any form of live music, exploring the north shore, hiking, camping, and paddleboarding the many lakes of Minnesota.
