Sand Painting & Rangoli Workshop with Shakuntala Maheshwari
For ages 10 years to adult. Shakuntala Maheshwari will guide participants as they learn about Indian culture, history, and celebrations through sand painting and rangoli. Artists will learn about rangoli designs: temporary floor art created to bring good luck and happiness to homes throughout India. Create your own mandala-like designs with chalk, sand, or rice flour in this interactive workshop. Your stylized rangoli can be displayed temporarily or transferred to paper to bring home.
