Jess Morgan is a multifaceted artist, organizer, and advocate deeply committed to uplifting local artists, particularly within the LGBTQIA2S+ community. In this program, Jess will share their story and explore the ways that they have utilized poetry as a means for exploring language for gender in trans/gender-diverse communities. This program is ideal for writers, activists, educators, and anyone interested in speaking out against injustice or sharing their story. Jess is the author of Too Many Hats, a poetry collection that examines the gig economy, trauma, and identity in Duluth’s queer arts community. Jess also runs the Duluth Poetry Chapter.
