Story & Play at Portland Square Park
For kids ages birth-PreK and their caregivers! Join us in a different neighborhood park each week for a storytime at 9:30 a.m., followed by fun youth-focused recreation activities with Duluth Parks & Recreation! Little Library Go will be present at each event, bringing mobile library services including kids’ books to check out, library card registration, and a book to keep for each child.
Storytimes introduce young children to books, rhymes, music, and other fun activities that promote early literacy skills! Geared to children 0-5, but any age is welcome to enjoy the story or play with recreation equipment. If we cannot safely hold the event outdoors, due to weather or air quality, Saturday Story and Play will be cancelled. Changes will be posted to our Facebook page by 8:00am, on the morning of the event. DPL is working to make our programs accessible to all.
