Josie is currently a 4th year undergraduate student at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. She will soon graduate with a bachelor’s degree in criminology, along with a minor in biology. Originally from a small suburb north of the Twin Cities, Josie aspires to find a forensics career in a larger, urban city. During her time at UMD, Josie had the opportunity to assistant teach a criminology course alongside an associate professor. First Witness CAC was particularly intriguing to Josie, as she had previously worked in a retail company dedicated to the empowerment of young girls and tweens through their fashion.
When she is not at First Witness CAC interning, Josie now works in food service at the Blackwood’s Grill & Bar location in Proctor, Minnesota. In her free time, Josie likes to search the shore of Lake Superior for interesting rocks, play video games, listen to music, and spend time with her close friends.
