Amber Bloss

Amber joined the team as Operations Assistant in January 2024, but before that, she was an Intern with First Witness Child Advocacy Center for about 5 months. Amber will be graduating this Spring with a bachelor’s in criminology and sociology and a minor in psychology. Last year, Amber spent a semester studying abroad in Scotland where she was able to take courses to further her studies and spend time exploring Scottish culture.

Outside of working at First Witness CAC, Amber works part-time as an independent contractor with Twin Ports Pet Sitters because working with animals keeps her grounded after a long day of learning about and experiencing the difficult things in this field. She also has her own dog who she cherishes and loves going home to at the end of the day.

After graduation, Amber plans to continue working in this field and dive deeper into advocacy and forensics. She hopes to learn why child abuse is so prevalent and what can be done societally to create change for the future.
