Karlee is a senior at the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) majoring in Social Work. At UMD, Karlee is involved in the University Honors, and is a Resident Advisor on campus. Before coming to First Witness Child Advocacy Center (CAC), Karlee volunteered at Safe Haven’s women’s shelter where her interest in working in the field of domestic and sexual violence began. After graduation in May 2023, Karlee plans to get her master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, hopefully being able to stay here in Duluth. Karlee is excited to build her experience, knowledge, and passion while interning at First Witness this year.
