Kylee Pass

Kylee currently serves as the Advocacy and Prevention Program Coordinator for First Witness Child Advocacy Center (CAC). In this role, she is awarded the honor of overseeing and coordinating family advocacy services as well as the prevention education program. Kylee most enjoys supporting the other Family Advocates on her team and guiding them through their work while honoring their strengths and personal advocacy styles. It is important for Kylee that her staff feel valued and supported, so that they can in turn best support families. Kylee also serves as a national level trainer and facilitates various advocacy trainings including a National Children’s Alliance accredited training created to help other family and child advocates around the nation build upon their advocacy skills and perspectives. 

Kylee first began at First Witness CAC in the fall of 2018 while completing a graduate level internship. Kylee’s educational background is in social work and she received both her Bachelor and Master of Social Work from the University of Minnesota- Duluth. In her education, Kylee had a special interest in working with survivors of violence and a focus on Women, Gender, and Sexuality studies as well as LGBTQIA+ studies. Following her internship, she was hired onto the First Witness CAC team as a Family Advocate and Trainer. It was in that role that Kylee found her personal passion for sexual abuse prevention and working with children, and the adults in their lives, around having open and safe conversations regarding sexual abuse and healthy relationships. In her advocacy work with children and families, Kylee highly values self-determination and provides holistic support while walking alongside families through their journey to healing and justice. In her spare time, Kylee enjoys exploring Duluth and the North Shore with her dog and working on her newest painting!
