Tiana is in her first year of her Master of Clinical Social Work program at the College of Saint Scholastica. She received a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota Duluth, in 2022. Tiana found her passion for child advocacy during her three years working as a Direct Support Professional with children in crisis shelters and foster care group homes. As an intern in the Operations Department at First Witness Child Advocacy Center, Tiana hopes to broaden her understanding of macro and mezzo level social work, gain a deeper understanding of prevention of Child Abuse, and further aid First Witness in their mission to support Children and Families who have suffered abuse.
In her free time, she enjoys creating art or coloring, reading mysteries or autobiographies, completing puzzles, spending time exploring outside, and having quality time with her friends. Tiana is thrilled to be joining an exceptional group of people here at First Witness!
